Non-Fiction Nook Book

This book, A Very Short History of the American Empire: 1775 - 1918 , is now out exclusively for Nook. It is a short non-fiction book, or perhaps a long essay, depending on how you want to look at it. It covers the early history of US intervention, perhaps adventurism, or simply imperialism. Some might be aware of the early attempts to incorporate Canada into the US, starting during the Revolutionary War, but again in 1812 - which of course is part of a more complicated story, but the case could be (and is) made nonetheless.

The book ends around the time of WWI, when Eugene Debs was put in jail for opposing that war. Mark Twain, Ethan Allen, and others figure prominently in the small book.
